LINDA DUNCAN TO ATTEND REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONIES

EDMONTON – Every year on Remembrance Day we take a moment to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country with courage. On Remembrance Day, New Democrats stand with all Canadians to honour the servicemen and women who have served this country in peace-keeping, rescue and relief missions, Two World Wars, Korea and Afghanistan.

NDP MP Linda Duncan will participate in two Edmonton events to commemorate our veterans:

  • Friday, November 9 (10:45 am to 12:15 pm) - Vimy Ridge Academy Remembrance Day Ceremony

  • Sunday, November 11 (10:00 am to 12:00 pm) - South Alberta Light Horse Remembrance Day Ceremony

    Location: Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 10037 84 Ave

    Ms Duncan will be joining the women and men of the South Alberta Light Horse at the Remembrance service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, followed by a parade along Whyte avenue and a wreath laying service at the Cenotaph near the Old Armory.
